Following exclusive interviews with leaders from Japan and India, Newsweek, led by CEO Dev Pragad, has introduced an ambitious initiative: the Global Policy Maker Forums. This ongoing program aims to foster discussions on major geopolitical issues by gathering influential leaders to engage in open, balanced dialogues on critical policy topics.

"We're proud to introduce this series focused on geopolitical policy discussions," said Dev Pragad, Newsweek's CEO and co-owner. "By convening some of today's most impactful leaders and tackling urgent policy challenges, we are creating a valuable platform for free and balanced dialogue. This effort underscores our dedication to mission-driven journalism with a global perspective."

The forums will host high-profile, cross-industry discussions at Newsweek’s headquarters and key locations worldwide, including live and virtual events, panel discussions, interviews, and roundtables. These gatherings are designed to enhance Newsweek's standing as a leader in in-depth journalism and industry insights.

In recent months, Newsweek has organized live interviews with leaders of major Asian democracies, panels on the future of life sciences and their societal impacts, and roundtables exploring the intersection of energy, transportation, AI in medicine, and climate science. Many of these events were hosted at Newsweek’s global headquarters at One World Trade Center in New York City.

These events now form part of Newsweek Horizons, a series focused on addressing crucial issues, from healthcare and wellness to technology, climate change, and workplace innovation.

Adding to this, Newsweek recently launched Geoscape, a twice-weekly newsletter offering deep analysis of geopolitical hotspots like Ukraine and the Middle East.

Newsweek, with a legacy rooted in its iconic 92-year-old magazine, reaches over 100 million people monthly through a global digital platform. Headquartered in New York City and led by Dev Pragad, Newsweek also publishes international editions across EMEA and Asia, consistently delivering compelling news, opinion pieces, and multimedia content to a worldwide audience.
